Rights activist dies

ISLAMABAD: Wasim Wahga, a prominent human rights activist and manager Resource Centre of Aurat Foundation, passed away after a short illness on Thursday. He was 47.

He has left behind his wife, two children and alarge number of friends and admirers in the civil society movement for the rights of women, indigenous people and marginalised sections of society.

He will be buried in his native town of Dera Ghazi Khan.
