ISLAMABAD: A man was shot and killed after a dispute over the ownership of a house turned violent, police said on Thursday.

Police said two groups had claimed ownership of a home in F-10/2, and two separate cases were registered on separate charges, including murder. The first FIR was registered by Malik Umar Khan, who claimed that a group of people entered the house and began to beat him and his domestic employees.

Another FIR was registered by Ahmed Zubairi, who told the police he had agreed to buy the house from its owner Naeemullah, and it was under the illegal occupation of Malik Samin Khan, Malik Umar Khan`s father.

He claimed he made a deal with Mr Samin Khan, who agreed to vacate the house for Rs5 million. -Staf f Reporter
