One dish, timing violations 50 marriage halls fined in Sargodha

SARGODHA: During the current month, 948 marriage halls were inspected in all the four districts and 50 of them were imposed Rs1.6m fine for violating one-dish rule.

A wedding hall owner was fined Rs20,000 for not adhering to the time limit while two wedding hall owners were arrested for violation of one-dish and time limit.

The administration inspected 485 marriage halls in Sargodha district and Rs1.18m fine was imposed on 38 of them.

In Khushab district, the administration inspected 178 marriage halls and imposed Rs300,000 fine on four of them. In Bhakkar district, 181 marriage halls were inspected eight were found guilty of violation. A fine of Rs180,000 was imposed on them while two hall owners were arrested.

It is pertinent to mention that in Mianwali district, 104 marriage halls were inspected but none was found violating rules.

ACCIDENT: Two young men died and another wasseriously injured along with his two daughters who were shifted to the hospital.

According to the sources, Abdullah and Abu Bakr of Phularwan town were going to Bhalwal on their motorcycle on the SargodhaGujarat road. Their motorcycle collided with another bike while overtaking a tractor-trolley on the main road. As a result, Abdullah and Abu Bakr died on the spot.

The man, identified as Zafar, was riding the other bike along with his two daughters. All three of them were seriously injured in the accident.

The injured were transferred to the THQ Hospital Bhalwal while the bodies of the deceased were handed over to the heirs.

DIES: A prisoner suffered a heart attack and died when he was being takentothecourtforhearing of his case.

As per details, Irfan Zameer, a resident of Katha Sagral, district Khushab, was confined in the Shahpur Jail in the drug case. After his death, his body was shifted to his village for burial.
