Sympathy from India

2014-12-18
I H AVE no personal acquaintance in Pakistan. But human emotions know no boundaries, particularly when something jolts the core sensibilities.

Since I read and admire your newspaper`s frank and forthright views against extremism, it encourages me to write to you and share our grief over Tuesday`s tragic incident in Peshawar.

Our heart goes with the families of the innocent children, who fell victim to the heinous barbaricactofterror.Thisis nothing short of savagery which cannot be described in words.

The terrorists have not only killed innocent children, but the future of humanity; thus, deserves to be treated as a crime against humanity.

The innocent children and other victims will always be in our prayers. One hopes sacrifice of the innocent lives strengthens commitment of the world community to fight against perpetrators of such a crimetogether.

It is now or never. I would like to tell the bereaved families and the people of Pakistan that we in India feel and share their pains in equal measure.
