Two senior police officers transferred

ISLAMABAD: Two senior officers were transferred from the capital police on Thursday.

Senior Superintendent of Police (operations) Sajid Klani was transferred and replaced with Najeebur Rehman Bugvi, currently serving at the National Highways and Motorway Police.

The services of Mr Kiani, a grade 19 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, were placed at the disposal of the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Mr Kiani served in the capital police for over a decade on the posts of ASP CIA, SP City, SP Saddar, SSP headquarters with the additional charge of staff officer to the interior minister.

Assistant Inspector General Special Branch Mohammad Ilyas, also a grade 19 officer of the PSP, was also transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of the government of Punjab.

Mr Ilyas worked in the capital police for about seven years on the posts of SP City, Saddar and the SP investigation.
