Three killed in separate incidents

ISLAMABAD: Three people were killed in separate incidents in thefederal capital on Friday.
A retired doctor, 72-yearold Syed Iqbal was killed in his house in F-10/4.
Investigation Officer Riaz Gondal told Dawn that the victim was living in the house with his wife.
He said the couple were sleeping when someone broke into the house and stabbed the doctor in the abdomen with a screwdriver.
Mr Gondal said the motive behind the murder was yet to be established and that an investigation has been started.
In an unrelated incident, Abdul Sami was killed in his uncle`s house in Faisal Colony.
Noon Station House Officer Alamgir Khan told Dawn that Sami had recently arrived in Pakistan from Dubai and was staying at his uncle`s house.
He said the uncle`s family was trying to conceal the circumstances of the killing and that they had kept the body in the house for two days.
He said the uncle had informed the police two days later that Sami had been killed by someone when he was on the roofof the house.
The police moved the body to the hospital for legal process.
He said the preliminary investigation suggests that Sami was sitting on the roof with his cousins and their neighbour.
The neighbour was carrying a pistol from which a bullet was fired which killed Sami.
SHO Khan said the suspect is at large.
Separately, Javaid Iqbal was 1(illed when he was hit by a car on the Expressway.
The police said the driver of the car that hit him managed to escape.
