PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation (KPEF) on Tuesday launched the province`s first career counselling portal for students.
The portal was launched with the counselling starting from Islamia College University, according to a statement issued here.
The managing director of KPEF, Zariful Mani, and Vice-chancellor of Islamia College University Prof Ali Mohammad inaugurated the career counselling programme. A large number of students participated in the ceremony.
The first session of the initiative was organised as a career counselling seminar for students of Islamia College University in collaboration with the FAIDA Foundation.
Under this programme, students across the province will be guided in career selection, skill development, digital technologies and various opportunities.
Students will be formally registered, alumni groups will be formed and they will be provided with learning material.
Additionally, a team of experts from around the world will be established to offer guidance to students through chat rooms.
