KOHAT: Three tribesmen were seriously injured after an armed clash between rival groups in Darra Adamkhel tribal subdivision of Kohat district on Tuesday.

The injured were taken to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar from a local health facility.

The exchange of nre was stopped when the elders from both the sides intervened to avoid further bloodshed.

A Rescue 1122 team shifted the injured to hospital.

The injured were identified as Khan Wali, 48, Shabbir Hussain of Noor Ali Kalay, and Mohammad Hussain hailing from Shapalkiwal, a rescue spokesman said.

Meanwhile, tribesmen of Kandi Sannikhel expressed grave concern over firing in the air by Sheraki Mubarikkhel and Bashkhel tribes of Darra.

They said that an eight-year-old child was injured in the firing.
