BAJAUR: Residents of Bar Saddan area of Salarzai tehsil here on Tuesday accused the PTI MPA Anwarzeb Khan of changing the route of an under-construction road project, and asked him to reverse the decision.

Talking to reporters after a meeting, an elder, Malik Azim Khan pointed out that work on the five-kilometre D ango01S ar oowano Road had only resumed on Sunday after remaining suspended since 2018.

He said the original design of the scheme, which the lawmaker shared with them, the road passed through the Dangool mountain, connecting a majority of hilly areas with each other.

However, he said that the road`s route had been changed.

Malik Azim, who was accompanied by a group of elders, asked the MPA and the district administration to withdraw the changes to the road.
