KARACHI: Former governor of Sindh retired Lt-Gen Moinuddin Haider has said that Mohammed Ali Jinnah University Karachi has demonstrated that investment in the education sector is the only way for progress of the country.

He was speaking as a chief guest at the sixth convocation of the university held in the PAF museum convention centre, said a state-ment on Wednesday.

About 350 students were conferred MBA and BBA degrees in business administration and computer science disciplines on this occasion.

In recognition of services rendered in the field of medicines, CEO of the Indus Hospital Dr Abdul Bari Khan was awarded an honorary doctorate degree. -APP
