LAHORE: A police response unit (PRU) vehicle was damaged allegedly by PTI workers near Baghbanpura bridge on the Canal Road on Saturday.

A case was registered for damaging the front and rear screens of the vehicle. The policemen on board the car remained safe.

Police said a PRU vehicle deputed for the security of PSL was going for refueling from a Mughalpura petrol pump when a group of PTI workers attacked the policemen and vehicle near the Baghbanpura bridge.

The driver sped the car while its front and rear screens were damaged by the attackers carrying stones and batons. Staff Reporter
