GUJRANWALA: The district administration on Sunday recovered 70,000 wheat bags hoarded in two flour mills in the area.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Suhail Khawaja told the reporters some flour mill owners were trying to create an artificial flour crisis.

He said teams had been formed to check the flour mills and a team, under the supervision of AC Wazirabad Aamir Mehmood, checked various flour mills.

The team recovered 50,000 wheat bags hoarded in Muzzafar Flour and General Mills and 20,000 bags from Al-Murtaza flour mills.

The recovered wheat bags were shifted to the government warehouses.
