KASUR: A teenage boy was shot dead by another teenager allegedly for sexually abusing him at village Habibabad in the area of Pattoki Saddar police on Tuesday.

According to police allegations, 16-year-old `A` was notorious in the area for raping minor boys and blackmailing them.

On Tuesday, he along with three boys, allegedly all his victims, according to police claims, entered a deserted house to rape one of the boys who was 14. The boy resisted, took out a pistol and shot him dead.

Police also claimed to arrest one of the suspects in the murder case and recovered the weapon. They shifted the body to the tehsil headquarters hospital for autopsy.

HOARDING: The district administration seized 187,500kg of sugar from hoarders in the areas of Kot Radha Kishan, Raja Jang and Kanganpur police stations.

The district police said they arrested five hoarders and lodged cases against them.

Deputy Commissioner Arshad Bhatti held a meeting with traders and told them that those involved in hoarding and price hike would be dealt with an iron hand.
