SARGODHA: A bus driver who left the steering wheel of his bus to count cash while traveling on the M-2 and putting at stake the lives of passengers and other vehicles has been arrested.
A case has been registered against him in Sargodha on charge of reckless driving.
According to sources, the police arrested bus driver, Khalid Javed, who left the steering wheel of a private company’s passenger bus and started counting currency notes while traveling on M-2 near the Sial Mor area of Sargodha.
A video of him leaving the steering wheel and counting currency notes while driving went viral on social media. At this, the driver was traced and arrested.
The Laksian Police Station of Sargodha registered a case against him on the complaint of Inspector Ayaz Khan.
