KU buses

2016-05-19
THE University of Karachi is one of the largest universities of Pakistan. Despite having 52 departments, the university doesn`t have enough transport for students.

For almost 25,000 students, only 28 buses are available, while 10 are out of service and need maintenance.

The university buses are over-crowded and students often hang precariously on footboards, risking their lives.

Most university students belong to middle-class families who pay about Rs20 every day for public transport to reach the university. In order to avoid this expense, they prefer to travel by university buses.

Because of the heatwave, it has become more dif ficult for students to travel inuniversity buses. The university administration is requested to resolve this issue.
