KOHAT: A land dispute claimed life of a young man in Kohati Dhol< area here on Wednesday.

Mohammad Iqbal, brother of the deceased, Mohammad Ali, lodged an FIR with the Bilitang police, nominating Naseer Khan and Musdassir for the murder over a property dispute.

The police shifted the body to KDA hospital where it was handed over to relatives after post-mortem.

Later, the police arrested the accused killers from a hideout along with the crime weapon, a 12-bore repeater.

SUSPECT ED PERSONS ARRESTED: The police claimed tohavearrested44 suspects,includingaproclaimed offender, during a search operation in the jurisdiction of Bilitang police station on Wednesday.

The search and strike operation was carried out in Shadi Khel, Kamal Khel and adjacent areas along the frontier region of Kohat. Arms and narcotics were also recovered from the possession of arrested persons. They were shifted to Bilitang police station for interrogation.

Arms recovered included two pistols, dozens of rounds, 715 gram hashish and two motorcycles. Correspondent
