LAHORE: Opposition Leader in the Punjab AssemblyMianMahmoodur Rasheed submitted on Thursday a resolution on the International Court of Justice decision that ruled in favour of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.

The resolution states it was foolish on part of the Pakistan government to accept ICJ`s jurisdiction.

`The ICJ decision is a well-planned conspiracy and interference in Pakistan`s internal affairs,` he stated.

Mr Rasheed told reporters at the Punjab Assembly the government had failed to plead its case against Jadhav by not utilising evidence though the spy had already confessed hiscrime.

MOTION: The opposition leader also submitted an adjournment motion against the rape of five girls and their consequent murder in the last three months in Kasur.

He said the girls aged between five to seven years were found murdered in under-constructions buildings. He said the police and other law enforcement agencies were playing as silent spectators.

Mr Rasheed demanded his adjournment motion be taken up on the floor of the house and debated so that the accused be held and punished and parents of girls could be given relief. Staff Reporter
