TOBA TEK SINGH: A minor boy drowned in a drain at Chak 128 GB, of Faisalabad`s Jarranwala tehsil on Wednesday.

Rescue 1122 officials said that Sher Ali (9) was playing when he suddenly slipped and fell into the open drain anddrowned.

On being informed of the incident, a Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and recovered the body from the drain.

Meanwhile, body of an unidentified woman, who appears to be in her 30s, was recovered by Faisalabad`s Nishatabad police from Jhang branch canal near Chak 6-JB, Borraywala.
