Administrative secretaries swapped by caretaker CM

LAHORE: The Punjab government executed a swap of administrative secretaries on Thursday, transferring secretaries between the Punjab Public Prosecution department and the S&GAD`s archives department.
Punjab Public Prosecution Department secretary Muhammad Ahsan Waheed was transferred and posted as secretary of the (archives) in the S&GAD.
This decision came in response to caretaker chief minister Mohsin Naqvi`s directive, as Waheed was deemed to have not actively pursued cases related to recent attacks on military installations. Mr Naqvi says no advantage should be given to the terrorists under any circumstance due to the inefficiency of few individuals.
`We will treat the May 9 case as our own and proceed accordingly in court,` said Mr Naqvi.
The (archives) S&GAD secretary, Muhammad Usman Anwar, was transferred and posted as Punjab Public Prosecution Department secretary.
The Punjab government posted OSD Abdul Rauf as Cane Commissioner, Punjab, against a vacant post relieving additional secretary (admn) agriculture department Muhammad Umer Sher of additional charge of the post.
Additionally, the Punjab government appointed OSD Abdul Rauf as the cane commissioner, filling a vacant position. This appointment relieves additional secretary (admn) of the agriculture department, Muhammad Umer Sher, from his additional charge.
Also, the Punjab government selected retired bureaucrat Habibur Rehman Gilani to serve as a member of the Punjab Public Service Commission for a three-year term, filling a vacant post.
