KARACHI: A suspect allegedly involved in several murders and other crimes was killed in an `encounter` with the police in Napier area of the city on Wednesday night, according to officials.
Police on a tip-off raided an alleged hideout of a known gangster of Malir area in `Lakra Gali` of Napier, CID police chief Ali Raza said.
On seeing the raiding personnel, the suspects opened fire and in retaliatory firing, one suspect identified as Sohail alias Dada was killed, the officer said.
