ISLAMABAD: Health Secretary Iftikhar Shallwani on Tuesday directed the Polyclinic administration to computerise the pharmacy and medicines record.

He was visiting the hospital on the directions of Federal Minister for National Health Services (NHS) Abdul Qadir Patel to observe the arrangements of medical facilities.

Mr Shallwani visited all the wards including emergency of the hospital and asl
He directed the executive director of the hospital to ensure uninterrupted supply ofmedicines to patients. He also directed to computerise the medicines record.

`I believe in merit and transparency.

All the out of order machinery should be repaired at the earliest,` he said.

However, Mr Shallwani agreed that there was huge load of patients and gave assurance that he would provide all possible resources to the hospital.

Health Secretary announced that he will himself monitor the hospitals of the federal capital and will not tolerate any negligence.

He said the ministry was committed to providing relief to people and will ensure best possible treatment to patients. Staff Reporter
