SWAT: A condolence reference in the memory of Maulana Khanzaib Shaheed was held on Friday at the Swat Press Club, organised by the Pakhtun Students Federation.

The event saw a large participation from the district leadership of the Awami National Party (ANP) Swat, party workers, and a large number of students affiliated with the Pakhtun Students Federation.

While addressing the gathering, ANP Swat district president Sher Shah Khan, general secretary Abdul Malik, additional general secretary Ikram Khan, vice president of Malgari Wakeelan Habib Shamakhel, president of the Pakhtun Students Federation, Haris Bacha, and other speakers paid glowing tributes to late Maulana Khanzaib.

They described him as a true soldier of the Pashtun nation, who fearlessly represented the cause of his people at every platform.

He laid down his life while bravely resisting the forces of oppression and violence. The speakers declared to carry forward Khanzaib Shaheed`s mission forward.

Calling him martyr for peace and a source of pride for the nation, party leaders emphasised that Khanzaib Shaheed raised his voice for the rights of the Pashtun people and led a movement against oppression and tyranny, dedicating his life to the welfare of his community.

They expressed deep solidarity with his family, assuring them that they would never be left alone in their grief.

The reference concluded with a collective prayer for eternalpeace ofthe departed soul.
