ost FDE run school`s grounds have not been maintained over the summer and students will now be mowing down school lawns after returning from their summer vacations.
One of the schools which is making students cut grass is IMCB F-6/2, the principle of which was not available for comment.
The grounds at the majority of Islamabad`s schools are not properly maintained and because of a shortage of funds, the grounds cannot even be prepared for sports activities, The last time sports activities were held in Islamabad schools was in 2013 and most school playgrounds have since been abandoned.
