GUJAR KHAN: A schoolteacher was arrested by Domeli police of Sohawa on Sunday for allegedly doing obscene activities with six students at a government high school.

A case was registered on the complaint of the grandfather of an 11-year-old student.

The complainant stated that he was informed by his grandson about the immoral activities of the teacher.

He said when he tried to investigate the incident on his own, five class fellows of his grandson also complained about the same behaviour of the teacher.

The police registered the case against the suspect under section 377-B of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on Sunday and arrested him. District Police Officer (DPO) Jhelum Dr Fahad said a zero tolerance policy was being implemented in crimes against children and women.
