ISLAMABAD: Mother-in-law of Tanveer Shahzad, photographer of Dawn, passed awayin Abbottabad on Thursday.

She was 80 years old and died of cardiac arrest.

She was mother of Additional Director Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre Dr Saima Huma Tanveer.

The funeral prayer and burial of the deceased were held in Abbottabad. She has lef t one son and three daughters to mourn her death.

Rasm-i-Qul will be held at Sheikhul Bandi Chunar Road Abbottabad after Zuhr prayers on Saturday.

Meanwhile, employees of Dawn expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Mr Shahzad`s mother-in-law. They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss. Staff Reporter
