A statue of Johnny Cash was unveiled at the US Capitol in Washington, D.C., making him the first musician honoured in National Statuary Hall. The ceremony featured lawmakers, family members, and the US Air Force band performing Cash`s hit `I Walk the Line.

Roseanne Cash, Johnny`s daughter, spoke about her father`s legacy, calling his statue a symbol of achieving the American dream. She highlighted his passion for socialcauses, including prisoners`rights and support for Native Americans and impoverished children. Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and other officials also paid tribute.
