SWABI: Unidentified persons fired rockets at the congested area of district headquarters Swabi, police said on Thursday.

However, no casualty was reported. The rockets were fired from the nearby fields which landed at Shamasur Rehman Market, said City police station SHO Munsif Khan. The marl(et owner said that he had no enmity with anyone.

Police recovered shrapnel from the site where the rocket exploded. Police registered FIR against unidentified miscreants and started investigation.

Meanwhile, three persons were killed in different incidents here on Thursday.

In Ismailia village, a man was shot dead allegedly over having illicit relation with a woman. The wife of the deceased nominated Rashid Khan and Sajid Khan in the FIR, registered at Kalu Khan police station.

In another incident, Iqbal Ghani was killed in Anbar village allegedly by Yaseen Khan and Raidullah.

The cause of the incident was stated to be women dispute.

In Turlandi village, Zanush Khan was killed by unidentified attackers.

Registering FIR in Kalu Khan police station, his brother said that they had no enmity with anyone. Correspondent
