MUZAFFARGARH: The district and sessions judge sentenced two persons to death for killing a journalist here on Friday.

Four robbers had killed journalist Bashir Ahmad Gopangduring a robbery in 2010.

Police had arrested Ayaz, Ashraf and Sajjad and tried them for killing Gopang.

Ayaz and Ashraf were sentenced to death while Sajjad was imprisoned for 12 years.

Police said the fourth accused in the case was killed in an encounter.
