DESPITE hefty funds sanctioned for development, storm water drains are not being cleared in Karachi.

The storm water drain of Lyari from Lea Market to Shah Waliullah Road has not been cleaned duringthe lastseveralyears.

This will cause mental agony and misery to the public during the coming rains thiswinter predicted by the metrological department.

The authorities concerned should look into this issue.
