ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) and Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI) have jointly launched `Plant Wise Plus Programme` to help improve food security in the country through more sustainable methods of food production.

CABI Project Coordinator Dr Mohammad Naeem Aslam explained the features of programme and said researchers and extension workers can take advantage of CABI`s online resources like crop protection compendium, invasive species compendium.

CABI Senior Regional Director Asia Dr Babar Ehsan Bajwa said that the government was convinced and enthusiastic about the quality assurance of operations, processes and outcomes of the plant clinic under the programme. Amin Ahmed
