QUETTA: The Director General of the Balochistan Charities Registration and Regulation Authority has revoked the registration of 10 employee associations in various government departments in the province.

According to an official notification issued by the director general, the decision was made in compliance with orders from the Balochistan High Court.

The associations whose registrations have been cancelled include the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta Employees Association, Employees Welfare Association of Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University, PPHI Employees Association, Balochistan Fisheries Employees Association, and Balochistan Technical Staff Association.

Other affected associations included the Staff Association of the Balochistan Tax Board Quetta, Field Officers Association, Medical Teachers Association, Local Government Officers Association, Officers Association Workers Board, and Public Health Engineering Employees Association.
