KARACHI: A young man was shot dead outside the National Museum within the remit of the Arambagh police station on Sunday, police said.

They said that the man, identified as Safdar Rafiq, 30, was targeted by four assailants riding on two motorcycles. He suffered critical bullet wounds and died on the spot.

The police said that the suspects did not take away his cell phone and other valuables.

The victim worked at a local eatery and originally hailed from Rahim Yar Khan.
