KARACHI: Raaz-i-Sukhan, a book by Allama Iqbal`s eldest grandson, Azad Iqbal, was launched at Arts Council.

Speaking at the book launch, organised by the Jehani-Masiha Literary Forum under its Papam-i-Iqbal, Bazaban-i-Iqbal theme, Syed Jamshed Ahmed appreciated that the traces of Iqbal`s poetry evident in the intellectual works of Azad Iqbal.He said that Allama Iqbal not only envisioned the creation of Pakistan but also, through his poetry, instilled a renewed spirit among the youth, dispelling despair and encouraging optimism.

He emphasised that, in today`s times, Iqbal`s thoughts and poetry can help alleviate the sense of hopelessness that has overtaken society, and this task can be carried forward by Iqbal`s family. At the ceremony, Azad Iqbal also recited his grandfather`s poetry, which was warmly appreciated by the audience.-Staff Reporter
