LAHORE: An anti-terrorism coun on Monday declared Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)-London chief Altaf Hussain absconder in a case about delivering anti-state speeches.

ATC-l judge Sajjad Ahmad also issued perpetual warrants for Mr Hussain`s arrest after police said the defendant was out of country in self-exile and service of the summons had not been made.

On the complaint of Amina Malik of Civil Society Network police registered the case in 2015 after Mr Hussain, during a telephonic address to his party`s workers, used objectionable language not only against state institutions, including the army and Rangers, but also against Pakistan.-Staff Reporter
