I S L A M A B A D : Islamabad Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Security Syed Ali Raza Tuesday asked officials to ensure the best security for foreign missions stationed in Islamabad.

Chairing a meeting with foreign diplomatic missions` security officials, SSP Security Mohammad Sarfraz Virk said the protective barriers of the diplomatic enclave were being reconstructed.

He said modern cameras were being installed along the internal and external roads, perimeter walls and surrounding routes.

Measures are being taken for the surveillance and monitoring of vehicles, motorcyclists and pedestrians, with increased emphasis on mobile and foot patrols, he added. Staff Reporter
