KARACHI: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation on Wednesday started a crackdown against over 55 illegal weekly bazaars being held in the city.

The KMC had issued notices to the owners of these bazaars, directing them to roll back the same or else the KMC`s antiencroachment cell and relevant police would take action against them.

It said the campaign had been launched against `the mafia` on directives of Mayor Wasim Akhtar.-PPI
