KARACHI: A 45-year-old man was shot dead in Quaidabad`s Sherpao Colony on Tuesday, according to police.

They added that Fazal Muhammad Khan was sitting outside his home in Swati Mohalla when armed pillion riders tar-geted him. He sustained five bullet wounds and was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where doctors declared him dead.

Area SHO Amanullah Marvat said that the victim was dismissed from the police department around one and half year ago.

The murder appeared to be an outcome of some property dispute, he added.
