SAHIWAL: A young man committed suicide by jumping into Lower Bari Doab Canal on Thursday afternoon.

Afzaal alias Chita, a resident of Isayain DeBasti, Sahiwal city, committed suicide because of some domestic problems.

Earlier, his first cousin had also committed suicide be throwing himself into LBDC. Rescue 1122 has started a search operation to retrieve his body from the canal water.
