PARACHINAR: One official of Levies Force was killed and another wounded in a rocket attack on a security post in Kurram Agency on Wednesday night, officials said.

The incident occurred in Shalozan Tangi area near the Afghan border. An official of the political administration said that four rockets were fired at the post which caused serious injuries to two personnel.

The wounded personnel were brought to the agency headquarters hospital where Mohammad Arif succumbed to his injuries while Said Rahim was under treatment. The administration has detained 15 people under the Collective Responsibility Clause of FCR. It has recently repatriated several displaced families to Shalozan Tangi where rehabilitation work is underway. -Correspondent
