DEAN of the Diplomatic Corps Kazakh Ambassador Bakhitbek Shabarbayev speaks at the farewell reception hosted for Omani Ambassador Ahmed Khamis Salim Al-Jamri.ean of the Diplomatic Corps, Kazakh Ambassador Bakhitbek Shabarbayev, held a reception in Serena to bid fareweII to the Ambassador of Oman, Ahmed Khamis Salim Al-Jamri.

The dean talked about the professional achievements of the Omani envoy during his term in Pakistan and also stressed on the friendly personality of Mr Al-Jamri. He said the ambassador was an experienced, senior diplomat and had served in many Arab countries before arriving in Pakistan.

In his brief speech, the outgoing ambassador thanked his colleagues and government officials for their cooperation.

`I am leaving with fond memories,` he said.

The new ambassadors of South Korean, Suh Dong-gu, and Azerbaijan, Ali Alizada, were also introduced to other envoys on the occasion.

The new Chief of Protocol Sahebzada Ahmed Khan attended the event on behalf of the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
