LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri says he has postponed the sit-in and not cancelled it.
Speaking at a party elders’ meeting here on Sunday, he said The Mall sit-in was postponed only for a decisive round of protest if the government failed to provide justice to the victims of police raid two years ago. He, however, said the rulers would go before his next call for protest.
He lauded the party office-bearers and workers for what he said successful sit-in.
