KHAIRPUR: Pakistan Peoples Party MNA Nafisa Shah has said that people are facing shortages of electricity, gas and water even during sehri and //tar timings thanks to bad governance of the PML-N government.

Talking to media persons after visiting Khairpur Civil Hospital on Monday, Ms Shah said that the federal government would further get bogged down in its self-created turmoil after Eid.

She said the inefficiency of [Prime Minister] Nawaz Sharif was evident from the fact that he read a written speech after appearing before the joint investigation team probing allegations of financial irregularities against him and his family. She said that people were calling for the prime minister`s resignation. He, therefore, should fulfill the public demand, she added.

She said that Nawaz Sharif came into power over false promises that he would resolve peoples` problems but he had not yet fulfilled any of his promises and people were still facing electricity, gas and water shortages even after his four years rule.

She said that those who were calling people of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa power thieves were themselves facing corruption charges in courts.
