GHALANAI: Mohmand district police officer Abdur Rasheed inaugurated the first police station at Ekkaghund in Lower Mohmand subdivision on Wednesday.

A large number of locals, elders and officials of district administration were present.

Mr Rasheed directed the police officials to serve the general public without any discrimination as per the tribal customs and norms.

The DPO said up till now three police stations had been established in the newly-merged tribal district and at least 150 FIRs had been lodged in various criminal cases.— Correspondent
