PESHAWAR, Oct 19: The first post-Haj flight carrying 120 pilgrims from Jeddah reached Bacha Khan Airport here at 12:30pm on Saturday.
According to Airport Manager Sadiqur Rehman, the post-Haj operations will continue until November 19.
He said that in the first flight of Saudi Airline, 120 pilgrims of private scheme reached the airport.
The manager said that another flight of Shaheen Airline with 370 pilgrims on board would arrive in the airport today (Sunday).
He said that in the pre-Haj operations, 31,000 pilgrims were airlifted to Saudi Arabia from Peshawar.
Mr Rehman said that officials of the departments concerned in a meeting decided that relatives and friends would not be allowed to receive pilgrims at the airport for security reasons. -APP
