I TRAVELLED by PIA flight PK-536 to Sukkur via Moenjodaro on Oct 12. I was fasting that day and my wife had packed the Iftar she had prepared for me in a lunch box. We landed at Moenjodaro around sunset where I asked the air hostess about Maghrib timings; she checked and told me that it was time.
As I broke my fast the steward brought a special drink for me which was refreshing.
It was probably made out of milk and soda.
It also had three ice cubes telling me that the someone took pains to make it. Then he bought a tray of sand wiches and cookies, I thanked andreturneditasIhadenough food with me. He then brought a hot dinner box. He asked me said and asked me to pray for him too.
As I finished my If tar, the airhostess brought me a cup of hot tea. All this happened during the short stay at Moenjodaro airport.
Who says PIA is in decline, I say it isrising. This young and pleasing duo won my heart and made this old man happy.
