Moreover, the water pressure is low which makes it almost impossible to perform daily chores, such as washing, cooking and cleaning. The situation is forcing people to arrange water from other sources, like tankers, which is a very costly undertaking. Besides, the quality of water is seriously poor. With its colour, smell and taste being different, the contaminated water is a potential health hazard. There is a need to upgrade the water supply capacity and system, as well as improve the water quality to address the community`s needs.
