KASUR: Chhanga Manga police arrested three suspects for subjecting a dancer to gang-rape on Monday.

Police said the dancer performed at a wedding function in Nathokot village and was returning to Lahore when three car riders intercepted her car near Chak 17 and abducted her.

The abductors took her to some unknown place where she was gang raped. Police have registered a case against the suspects and areinvesugadng.

ARRESTED: The Ganda Singh police arrested a swindler woman while two of her accomplices managed their escape at Husain Khanwala village on Monday.

Reports said accused Farah, Sajjad and Rehman reached Bazeedpur village in a car and introduced themselves as of fice bearers of an NGO.

They told villagers that the NGO wanted to help the village women by way of self-employment and micro-financing.

The swindlers collected money from some women and later went to the outhouse of former nazim Riaz Bhutta in Husain Khanwala village.

When swindlers were collecting money from the women, Bhutta got suspicious and informed police who arrested Farah while Sajjad and Rehman managed to escape.

Police seized the car and registered a case against the three suspects.
