LARKANA: A group of Pakistan Peoples Party-Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB) workers on Friday held a 25km-long march on foot from Al-Murtaza House in Larkana to the Bhuttos’ mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto as part of their 20-years-long struggle for the arrest of the killers of their leader, Mir Murtaza Bhutto, and his close associates.
Mir Murtaza Bhutto, along with his associates, was assassinated in a police operation outside the Bhuttos’ Karachi residence, 70 Clifton, on Sept 20, 1996.
Led by Mehrab Bhutto, Ghulam Rasool Umrani and Barkat Mirani, the activists laid a wreath on their leader’s grave and vowed to continue their struggle until the killers were brought to justice.
