KARACHI: Five members of a family suffered burn injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in their home in Malir Bakrapiri on Friday.

The wounded included a man, his wife and two daughters. They were taken to the Burns Ward of the Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.

Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man was gunned down in Ayub Goth off Superhighway late on Thursday night.

Sohrab Goth police said Mohammed Farooq was killed by unknown suspects near Sunday Bazaar.
