NMU lecture theatres named after former VC

LAHORE: The newly-constructed five state-of-theart lecture theatres of the Nishtar Medical University (NMU), Multan, have been named after the late VC Prof Dr Mustafa Kamal Pasha.

Prof Pasha had died of Covid-19 during the first outbreak of the virus in 2020 in Multan.

Being the VC of the Nishtar Medical University, he had laid the foundation of the construction work of five lecture theatres for 2,000 medical students of the university in 2017.

Addressing on the inaugural ceremony of the theatres constructed at the cost of Rs15m on Friday, NMU VC Prof Rana Altaf declared it a memorable day as the mission of the late Prof Kamal had been completed.

Mr Altaf announced to name after the theatres after Dr Pasha.
